World Pet Obesity Week Launches with 2025 Global Survey and New Resources for Pet Owners and Veterinary Teams

LELAND, NC – The Association for Pet Obesity Prevention (APOP) announced today the launch of its 2025 Pet Obesity & Nutrition Opinion Survey.

The survey opens October 1, 2025, to coincide with World Pet Obesity Week (October 6–12, 2025) and will remain open through December 31, 2025. It invites veterinary professionals, pet owners, and members of the pet health industry worldwide to share their perspectives on how obesity and nutrition are perceived and managed in companion animals.

Veterinary practices, organizations, and industry partners worldwide are encouraged to share the survey link with their teams, clients, and audiences to broaden participation and ensure diverse representation. Practices and universities may also sign up now to receive information about the 2026 Pet Obesity Prevalence Survey.
